Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

If you prepare this dressing with sharp-flavored genuine Roquefort cheese, you can use somewhat less of it than with other, less pungent, blue-veined cheeses.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/8 tsp liquid hot pepper seasoning
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
- 8 ounces blue-veined cheese or 6 ounces Roquefort cheese, crumbled
- Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium-size bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire, hot pepper seasoning, and garlic; mix until well blended. Stir in cheese, mashing any large pieces with a fork, until well blended. Season with pepper to taste. If made ahead, cover and refrigerate for up to 10 days.
