Scalloped Potatoes (Microwave)

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp minced onion (or more)

Preparation

Step 1

Place butter in a 1 quart measuring cup or bowl.
Microwave at high ½ minute or until melted.
Whisk in flour and seasonings.
Gradually stir in milk.
Microwave 6 to 8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Slice 4 or 5 (or more) potatoes.
Layer potatoes, onion and sauce. (3-4 layers)
Microwave on high 17-19 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
