Ingredients
- 1 (2 pound) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 C.crushed corn flakes cereal
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix hash brown potatoes, sour cream, onion, cream of chicken soup and cheese; season to taste with salt and black pepper. Transfer mixture into a buttered 9x13-inch baking dish. Mix melted butter and corn flakes and sprinkle on top of potato mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is bubbling, about 1 hour 15 minutes.
** Can be made ahead and frozen.
