Warm Olive Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 24 slices French bread, cut 1/4 inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped pitted ripe olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon Italian salad dressing
  • 3/4 cup chive and onion cream cheese spread
  • Cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat oven to 375°F. Place bread slices on Large Round Stone with Handles. Lightly brush tops of bread slices with olive oil using Chef's Silicone Basting Brush. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp. Remove bread from oven and set aside.

2.Meanwhile, chop celery and olives using Food Chopper; place in Small Batter Bowl. Press garlic into batter bowl using Garlic Press. Add dressing; mix well.

3.Spread cream cheese evenly over toast slices using All-Purpose Spreader. Top with olive mixture using Small Scoop. Return to oven; bake 6-8 minutes or until warm. Serve bruschetta on Simple Additions® Large Round Platter. Garnish with cherry tomatoes, if desired.
