Ingredients
- 8 oz medium shell macaroni
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tblsp olive oil
- 1 16oz pkg hot dogs, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 15 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 8 oz sour cream
- 2 oz provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 oz mozzarella cheese,shredded
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Cook shells. In skillet, cook onion and garlic in olive oil until nearly tender. Stir in hot dogs and cook until lightly browned. Stir in spaghetti sauce, canned tomatoes and mushrooms. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and half of the cheeses. Stir mixture into the drained pasta. Spoon into a casserole. Cover and bake about 30 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake uncovered 5 more minutes.
