Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 (16oz) can kidney beans
- 2 cups water
- 1 (16oz) can diced tomatoes
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tblsp chili powder
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine ground beef, garlic and onion in pan and cook until beef is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Add undrained beans, the 2 cups of water and the undrained tomatoes. Add the rest of the ingredients and reduce heat and simmer uncovered 1 hour, stirring occasionally. I like to serve it with rice.
