Peanut Butter and Chocolate Twist Frosting

Ingredients

  • Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe
  • Ingredients
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • milk
  • Chocolate Frosting Recipe
  • Ingredients
  • 1 portion of the peanut butter frosting
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate ,melted and cooled
  • addition powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together the cream cheese, peanut butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Gradually beat in powdered sugar. Add milk 1 teaspoon at a time, until frosting reaches piping consistency. Divide frosting into two portions. Makes 2 (about 1-1/2 cup ) portions.

Chocolate
Combine the peanut butter frosting and the melted chocolate. If necessary, beat in additional powdered sugar or milk until frosting reaches piping consistency. Makes 1-1/2 cups This recipe is from The BHG Cupcake Magazine 2011
