- 1 large pineapple

Step 1
Hold pineapple upright and cut away the peel. Pick at random spots around the full length of the pineapple with a spoon, knife or mini melon-baller to great little grooves and cuts. Lay the pineapple down and slice into very thin slices.
Place pineapple slices on a cookie sheet and blot with a paper towel.
Bake @ 300 for 30-40 minutes until darkened around the edges.
Turn over and bake 10 minutes longer, then turn off the oven. Leave them in the closed oven to dry for another 1/2 hour.
Remove flowers from trays and place in a muffin tine to curve and get their shape.
Leave out to dry for several hours or overnight.
