Ingredients
- 4 cups uncooked egg noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can Hunts spaghetti sauce (your choice)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups cup cream-style cottage cheese
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Step 1
Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Remove from the heat; stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes and spaghetti sauce, salt, garlic salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream and noodles.
In a greased 9 x 13 baking dish, alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. You can garnish with the green onion slices.
