Salmon Canapes

Ingredients

  • 1 (6-ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup shredded fat-reduced cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup lite mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery 1 (2-ounce) jar chopped pimiento
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 32 slices (1/4-inch thick) baguette

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl combine all ingredients, except baguette. Place 1 tablespoon on each slice of baguette and spread out to cover bread. Place slices on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees 8-10 minutes.
This mixture can be made and refrigerated for 2 days. Prep time is 15 minutes. Easy to serve: throw them up in the air and whack them with a tennis racket. Good hot or cold.
