Ingredients
- 1 pound fettuccine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 pound Gorgonzola cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook pasta in boiling water according to package directions, adding lemon juice to boiling water; drain.
2. Meanwhile, melt cut-up cheese and butter in top of double boiler over simmering water, whisking occasionally.
3. Stir in cream, and remove from heat; allow to thicken.
4. Toss pasta with sauce
Optional: Sprinkle crushe basil beasves over the top for extra color and flavor.
