Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Salmon; skin on one side; fresh King Salmon works best for this recipe
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/4 tablespoon soy sauce

Step 1

1. Wash Salmon, pat dry with paper towel.

2 Place salmon in Ziplock, airtight recloseable bag. Add marinade. Marinate in fridge for 1 to 3 hours, do not over marinate. You want the primary taste of salmon to come through.

3. Prepare the grill to medium-high heat.

4. Turn down the heat to medium-low

5. Grill Salmon skin side down, COVERED for about 7 to 9 minutes until you can see moist flakes. Your cook time will vary greatly with the thickness of the salmon and the heat of the grill. Use a fork if you need to check for doneness. When the salmon flakes at the thickest part, but it still moist, take salmon of the grill.
