Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- SECOND LAYER:
- 1 cup pecan halves or chopped pecans
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- TOP:
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
CRUST:
Combine flour, butter and sugar till butter is cut into mixture. Press into a 13 x 9 pan.
SECOND LAYER:
Layer pecans on top of crust mixture. Boil 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar in a pot and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour evenly over pecans and crust mixture.
Bake at 350 for 15-17 minutes till mixture is bubbly.
TOP:
Once out of the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips. Leave for 5-7 minutes. Then spread over entire bar.
Cool and cut.
