Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Ground Chuck
  • 1/2 cup chop onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 package beefy dry onion soup mix
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2/3 cup italian bread crumbs or regular bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Worchestershire Sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 1/2 Cups Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Shredded Gruyere or Sharpe
  • cheddar cheese

Cooking time 115mins

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
Chop onion and mince garlic
add to ground chuck
stir in dry soup mix and dry bread
crumbs
slightly beat eggs and add to meat
mixture along with worchestershire
sauce
salt and pepper to taste

form into loaf
Place in Loaf pan with meatloaf insert
Bake for 1 1/2 hours
for Last 20 minutes top with
2 1/2 Cups Hot Mashed potatoes
1 Cup of Shredd Cheese
When done pull insert out of loaf pan
and away from drippings let excess drain
serve with beef gravy
