Ingredients

  • 18-24 slices baguette French bread
  • 1/4 olive oil
  • 1 16oz bag frozen Italian meatballs, thawed
  • 2 onions chopped, stir fried
  • 1 1/2 cup tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4oz)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brush 1 side of each bread slice with oil. Line bottom and side of ungreased 9 1/2 in deep dish glass pie plate with bread, oil sides up and slightly overlapping.

2. Bake 5-10 min or until edges are light golden brown. Meanwhile, in large bowl, gently mix meatballs, onions and pasta sauce. Spoon mix into crust.

3. Bake uncovered 25-30 min or until hot in center. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
