Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pkg strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 pkgs (10 oz each) frozen strawberries partially defrosted
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 small container whipped topping

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve jello in boiling water and add cold water. Add strawberries, stir well and set aside to cool. Do not refrigerate. Cream sugar with butter and add pretzels. Press in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 and cool. Blend cream cheese with powdered sugar add whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture over cool crust. Set in refrigerator to firm up. When cream cheese mixture is set or firm add strawberry mixture and refrigerate over night. Can be made in morning if served in late afternoon
