Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • dash salt
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in saucepan.
Add sugar stir.
Add corn syrup stir.
Gradually add milk
Cook till candy thermometer reaches 245 degrees approx 12 to 15 minutes, remove.
Stir in vanilla.
Butter ice cube trays and freeze.
Wrap in plastic
