Fruit Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. dried fruit
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer dried fruit in water for 30 minutes. Stir in sugar. Cover and simmer 30 minutes longer. Fruit should be soft. Place in blender and puree. Store in covered jars in refrigerator. Use for filling for cookies, muffins, or spread on toast or pancakes.
