Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground beef
- 3/4 ¾ C Onion, chopped
- 16 oz. Tomato, diced
- 16 oz. Chili Beans
- 1/2 ½ C Minute Rice
- 1/2 ½ C Water
- 1 T Green chilies, diced
- 1 1/2 1 ½ t Chili powder
- 1/2 ½ t Salt
- 1/2 ½ t Garlic Salt
- 3/4 ¾ C Cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown ground beef, sauté onion. Stir in undrained tomatoes, beans, rice water, green chilies, and seasonings.
2. Simmer mixture covered, 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3. Top with cheese, cover and simmer 3 minutes to melt.
4. Serve with corn chips or cornbread.
