Barbequed Chicken on the Grill

One of my favorite meals! So easy and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken pieces of choice
  • Barbecue sauce of choice

Preparation

Step 1

Heat grill on HIGH heat.

Use chicken halves or quarters, legs/thighs or cut-up chicken pieces.

Sear the chicken pieces for 5 minutes on each side DIRECTLY on HIGH heat on the grill. (Rub the grill with oiled paper towel before heating or chicken will stick to grill.)

Lower grill temperature to MEDIUM, move chicken to the center and cook on one side for 15 minutes, with the grill cover down.

Turn chicken over and cook for 15 more minutes, with the cover down.

Baste chicken with barbecue sauce of choice and cook for about 10 more minutes, turning and basting several times with sauce, until sauce caramelizes nicely and chicken is done.
