Ingredients
- 3 large onions
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- salt & pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Peel the onions & halve them, then slice them thinly
heat the butter & oil together in a large saucepan, add the onions & sugar, cook very gently for 30 minutes over low heat, after done
roughly chop the capers & stir into onions, allow to cool
stir in the parsley, add salt & pepper
