Potato Bread

Ingredients

  • WHEN READY:
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup potato flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup potato flakes
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Flour to make dough stiff

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeastin 1/4 cup warm water then add 1 cup warm water; feed with 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup potato flakes, and 1/ 1/2 cup flour. Let sit out until starts to bubble and ferment, all day or overnight. Refrigerate for 2-5 days, your start is ready to make bread or whatever.

Add additional ingredients. Knead dough and turn into large greased bowl. Spray top of dough with Pam and cover with Saran wrap. Let rise until doubled in size. Make into bread, etc. Spray top with Pam and let rise until doubled, then bake.
