Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef (2lbs will work on same below)
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 2 eggs
- t 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can beef consommé
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can French onion soup
Preparation
Step 1
Mix meat, onion, seasonings, crumbs, milk and egg. Mix well. Form into 1" balls. Melt shortening and brown balls. Add soups, cover and cook until warm through out. This will make a great gravy. You can double the soups and the meat and bread crumbs for a larger portion. Great leftovers and a good base for meatloaf.
