Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- Flour, S&P
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 green apples, cut in wedges
- 2 Tbsp. Cherry Republic Cherry Red Wine
- 2 Tbsp. cherry mustard
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup sliced dried cherries
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large heavy bottom pan. Lightly dust Chicken with flour, salt and pepper. When oil is hot enough add chicken and saute until brown, Remove chicken and place in a warm oven. Add more oil, onion and garlic; cook over low heat until tender. Add sugar and apple, cook until apple begins to brown. While still hot, add wine. Return chicken to pan and add the remaining four ingredients. Cook until sauce starts to thicken, 15 minutes. Season to taste.
