Mini Memphis Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 12 small potato rolls, split in half
  • Mustard sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat grill pan to high heat. Add sliced onion to grill pan and cook until tender, about 10 mins.

2. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, salt and pepper. Make burgers equal in size, about 2" across.

3. Cook burgers on the grill for 3-4 mins on each side. Serve on split rolls with grilled onions and mustard sauce.
SAUCE: 3 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients.
