Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 (8oz) carton of frozen whipped topping thawed
- 1 (4 oz) pkg instant choc pudding mix.
- 1 (4oz) pkg instant vanilla puuding mix
- 3 cups milk
- Toasted coconut or sliced almonds
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, cut butter into flour till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press mixture into bottom of an ungreased 13 x9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or till lightly browned. Cool
In a medium bowl beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 carton whipped topping. Spread over crust in pan. Set aside.
Prepare the pudding mixes separately according to package directions, except use 1 1/2 cups of milk for each.
Spread the pudding over cream cheese layer.
Spread the vanilla pudding over the choc.
Spread with additional topping.
Sprinkle with coconut or almonds.
