Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- powdered sugar sprinkled on top
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350. Grease square pan, 13x9x2 inches. Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in microwave on low power until melted. Cool slightly. Beat sugar, vanilla and eggs in large bowl on high speed 5 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture on low speed. Beat in flour on low speed just until blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread 1/2 of mixture in pan. Spread caramel on top and add remaining batter.
Bake 30-35 minutes or just until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan;DO NOT OVERBAKE; Top with remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Let set for 5 minutes to soften. Spread melted chips like icing. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Let cool completely. Cut into bars. These are wonderful!
