Peanut Butter Brownies #3

Ingredients

• Cream together:
• 3/4 c. shortening
• 3/4 c. peanut butter
• 2 1/4 c. sugar
• 5 eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• Mix together:
• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 3/4 sp. salt
• Mix dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and add and mix:
• 1 1/2 c. semi sweet morsels
• 3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Spray a 5x10 or 9x13 pan and pour in batter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Do not over bake. Allow brownies to cool to room temperature. Cut into squares and serve.
