Ingredients

    c flour

  • 1

    T yeast dissolved in

  • 2

    T warm water

  • 1/2

    c margarine

  • 2

    egg yolks

  • 1/2

    c sour cream

  • confectioners sugar

  • Walnut filling:

  • 1

    c chopped walnuts

  • 1/2

    c sugar

  • 1

    t vanilla

  • 2

    egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions

Put flour in bowl and add margarine with pastry blender. Add yeast mixture, egg yolks and sour cream. Mix well, form into ball and knead. Divide dough into 3 parts, chill in fridge for 1 hr. Sprinkle board w/confectioners sugar and roll out 1 part of the dough as you would for pie crust. Cut into 12 wedges. Prepare filling by mixing first 3 ingredients and folding in beaten egg whites last. Fill wide end of dough with 1 t filling. Spread filling 3/4 way down. Roll up and place on greased cookie sheet with tip tuck into bottom. Bake 350 for 15 min or nice and brown.
