  • 3 cups Swans Down cake Flour – Measure and sift 3 times with the salt and baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. lemon flavoring

Step 1

Cream margarine and Crisco. Add sugar gradually and cream for 15 minutes. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each one. Add flour, salt and baking powder with milk and flavoring beat until well mixed. Cook at 325 for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
