Ingredients

  • 1

    stick unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾

    cup brown sugar, packed

  • ¾

    cup sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    tsp vanilla extract

  • cup all-purpose flour

  • dash of salt

  • ½

    tsp baking soda

  • cup peanut M&Ms

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside. In a medium bowl, stir to combine butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well. In a large bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until combined. Press half of the mixture evenly into baking pan. Evenly distribute the M&M’s on top of the dough, and press the remaining cookie dough over the candies. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into squares or bars.
