Pie Crust
By jgroeneveld
Good standard recipe that makes 2 nice size crusts for most pies. Can substitute ICBINB for the butter- crust came out just as good.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 6 tbsp. shortening
- 6-8 tbsp. ice water
Preparation
Step 1
Get a glass, put some ice cubes in it, fill with water and set aside.
In large mixing bowl combine flour, salt and sugar, whisk together.
In same bowl, add butter and shortening and begin to combine with dough blender for 15 seconds. Add 6 tbsp of ice water- continue to blend dough. Use more water as necessary.
Dust counter top with flour and divide dough in half and begin to roll. I like to refrigerate the dough for at least a half hour before rolling as I think it makes the dough roll better.
