REESE'S PIECES CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BLONDIES

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
- 3 ounces semisweet or milk
- chocolate, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease or line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
2.In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3.In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Gradually whisk in the flour mixture. Fold in 3/4 cup Reese’s Pieces.
4.Scrape the batter into the pan and bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle. Let cool completely.
5.Once cooled completely, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Spread in a thin layer on top of the blondies. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces. Let the chocolate cool and harden before cutting into squares.
