Gravy

Garlic or any other herb or flavoring can be added before flour.

Ingredients

  • Optional:
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 Tablespoon AP flour
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons minced garlic

Preparation

Step 1

1) Turn sautee pan on medium heat
2) Melt butter in pan
3) If adding other ingredients, such as garlic, add once butter is melted
4) Let butter brown slightly, as well as garlic, if added
5) Add flour and mix until a thick paste is formed
6) Add milk and stir, getting all possible clumps out
7) Add salt and pepper
8) Continue stirring until thickened
9) Remove from heat and serve
