Ingredients

  • 5-6 Large Chicken Breasts (6 Cups Shredded)
  • 1 Can Swanson Chicken Broth
  • Celery Salt
  • Garlic Salt
  • Onion Salt
  • 2 Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Cups Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Brick American Cheese
  • OPTIONAL SEASONINGS
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic Salt
  • 5 Packages Ritz Crackers(long brown paper tubes, I like the Garlic flavor)
  • 2 to 2 1/2 Cups Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook chicken in broth seasoned with the celery, garlic, and onion salt (may add water to cover chicken if needed). If boiling chicken, cook for 25 minutes or 30 if chicken is frozen. (Boil for 20 or 25 if frozen)

While chicken is boiling, combine soup, sour cream, and american cheese in large bowl. In a medium bowl melt butter and add crushed Ritz Crackers. Mix well.

Remove chicken from broth. When cool shred chicken into bite size pieces and add to soup mixture. Stir until combined.

Preheat oven to 350. Layer casserole dish with Ritz Cracker mixture, chicken, and them top with another layer of Ritz Cracker.

Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
