Ingredients

  • 1 lb turkey (or hamburger)
  • 1/2 cup Panko
  • 1/4 cup minced green onion
  • 1/4 cup minced red bell pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 box rigatoni noodles
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 oz. grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with foil. Combine the above ingredients and shape into golf ball-size balls; place on baking sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until brown.






Cook noodles. Drain. Add cream cheese and sour cream to warm noodles.
Grease a baking dish. Layer: pasta, 1/2 meatballs, spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Top with parmesan cheese. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Can be made ahead of time and frozen. Thaw before cooking.
