Ingredients
- 1 box yellow 2 layer cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 3 5/8 oz box pistachio pudding mix
- 1/2 ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 ½ cup sugar
- 1/2 ½ tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 ½ cup finely chopped pistachios
Preparation
Step 1
Combine cake mix and pudding mix. Add sour cream, almond extract, eggs and shortening.
Beat with electric mixer medium speed 2 min. Divide dough in half between 2 greased 9” load pans.
Mix sugar, cinnamon, and pistachios. Sprinkle ½ of mixture in pans. Add remaining batter over
top and sprinkle with rest of topping. Bake 350 degrees until loaf pulls away from side of the pan .
About 50 min. Let cool on a wire rack before removing from pans.
