Cream Puffs

This makes 12 puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 4 or 5 eggs
  • 3 cups filling

Preparation

Step 1

Add butter to boiling hot water. When melted, add flour all at once. Mix thoroughly and cook over direct heat for 5 minutes. Add unbeaten eggs in, one at a time. Drop by teaspoonful on butter baking sheet. allow 2 to 3 inches between each. Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325 to 350 degrees and bake 20 to 30 minutes longer. Cook and fill with filling.


Filling
1 tablespoon cocoa to 1 cup whipping cream.
Whip until stiff.
