Cherry Almond Bread

The fun pink color of this sweet bread comes from maraschino cherry juice. Top off slics with a dab of Cream Cheese Butter-a delectable combo!

Ingredients

• 1 c. milk
• 2/3 c. maraschino cherries, halved
• 1/3 c. maraschino cherry juice
• 2 tbsp margaine or butter
• 1/4 tsp almond extrat
• 4 c. bread flour
• 1/3 c. chopped almonds
• 4 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast or bread machine yeast

Preparation

Step 1

2 pound size. Add the ingreadients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions, adding the cherries with the milk and the almonds with the flour. Select the basic white bread cycle.
