Chili Sauce Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
  • 1/3 C. white wine or chicken broth
  • 1/4 ¼ C. olive or veg. oil
  • 10-12 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 1/2 4 ½ tsp. dried basil
  • 1/2 ½ tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 8 chicken pieces

Preparation

Step 1

In large ziplock bag combine all ingredients except chicken. Mix well and then remove 1/3 C. for basting. Cover and refrigerate. Add chicken, seal and turn to coat. Chill at least 2 hours.

Drain and discard marinade. Grill chicken over medium heat for approx. 20 minutes. Baste w/ marinade. Turn and grill 10 more minutes or until juices run clear.
