Elaine's chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 3/4 cup brown sugar (I use splenda mix)
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1 cup pecans (optional) chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter & sugars until fluffy, the add vanilla and eggs. Mix well . In another bowl mix salt , soda, and flour together. Add to wet ingredients and mix until flour is incorporated. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Roll a heaping tbsp into a ball and flatten on a parchment covered cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes
