Ingredients
- 1 (4-serving size) package instant chocolate pudding and pie filling
- 1 1/3 cups prepared eggnog
- 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips, finely chopped, divided
- 1 (9-inch) chocolate graham cracker pie crust
Preparation
Step 1
In medium-sized bowl, whisk together pudding mix and eggnog 1 to 2 minutes, or until mixture is well blended.
Fold in whipped topping. Add 3/4 cup chocolate chips, stirring until well blended. Spoon filling into pie crust and top with remaining chocolate chips. Cover and chill 2 hours, or until filling is firm.
Notes:
Don't worry about having to chop chocolate chips. Sure, you can do it by hand, but it's a lot easier if you give them a whirl in food processor that has been fitted with steel cutting blade. And here's a tip: The colder the chips, the easier they are to chop.
