- Filling:
- 4 cups fresh, peeled peach slices
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1-1/2 tsp corn starch
- Topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Mix all filling ingredients in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish until well combined. In a mixing bowl, mix together all topping ingredients until free of lumps and then cover peaches with mixture in small dollops, before spreading evenly. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown. Let cool five minutes before serving topped with vanilla ice cream.
This can also be made with well-drained canned peaches by subtracting 1/4 cup of the filling’s sugar.
