Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pound round steak
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 4 tomatoes, cut into 8ths or 1 (16 ounce) can , cut up
- 2 large green peppers, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Cooked noodles

Preparation
Step 1
Cut beef into strips, brown in oil. Put into slow cooker.
Combine next 7 ingredients and pour over beef. Cover and cook 6 hours. Add tomatoes and green peppers. Cook on low 1 hour.
Combine water and cornstarch to make paste. Stir into liquid in cooker and cook on low 1 hour. Combine water and cornstarch to make past. Stir into liquid in cooker and cook on high until thickened.
Serve over noodles.
