Blueberry Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Blueberry Muffin Mix
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp. water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Grease and flour a 9x5x3 pan. Empty blueberries into strainer. Wash under cold running water. Set aside to drain.

In a medium sized bowl combine all ingredients except the blueberries; mix well until well blended. Gently fold in drained blueberries. Spread batter in pan. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes until bread tests done with a toothpick. Cool about 10 minutes. For a 7 1/2x3 3/4x2 1/2 pan reduce water to 1/2 cup. Bake at 375 for 55-60 minutes.
