Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust (you can use pre-pizzas from here or make a homemade crust- there are tons of great recipes online)
- 2 teaspoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (you can use a glove of garlic chopped)
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozarella cheese (you can also use holanda from here)
- 2 medium roma tomatoes, thinkly sliced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (you can also just use spices that you like- basil, oregano, etc.)
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, press pizza dough into a greased 13-in X 9-in x 2-in baking dish (or just use the prepizza). Brush with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Layer with 1 cup mozarella, sausage and tomatoes. Sprinkle with remaining mozarella and Italian seasoning.
Bake at 400 (200 here) for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
