This is a wonderful way to cook ribs inside. Use either beef or pork ribs. I use a large electric skillet to cook them in.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef or pork shortribs
  • 2 t. salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 T. prepared yellow mustard (not dry in can)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ribs. Pour off drippings; add salt, onions, garlic and 1/2 cup water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Mix other ingredients; add to meat. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
