Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 (4 oz.) diced chilies
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (drain liquid and add only if needed)
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chili beans (not drained)
  • 1 lb. Kraft Old English sharp American cheese

Step 1

Brown meat and add onion, sauté and drain fat. Add chili powder, chilies, mashed tomatoes and beans. (Sauced Italian crushed peeled tomatoes and did not mash beans). Cook oven low heat for 20 minutes. Add cubed cheese until it melts. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with taco chips.
