Bob's Pressure Cooker Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Ingredients

  • To make your own porcupine meatballs in place of the frozen meatballs, combine:
  • 2 pounds (32 oz.) frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cp light brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup uncooked long grain white rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • (Increase cookin time by 1 minute)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add all ingredients to pressure cooker, stir well and securely lock on lid. Set the cooker to high and cook for 5 minutes.

2. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before (carefully) quick releasing the remaining pressure and safely removing lid. Serve over rice.
