Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour (Pillsbury Soft-a-silk)
- 3 cups sugar (organic sugar)
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract (I usually add more)
- 2-3 tbsp. Hershey's Cocoa
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and vegetable oil. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla with butter and vegetable oil. Then mix in sugar and flour 1 cup at a time until batter is very smooth.
Spray bunt pan with non-stick spray. Pour 2/3 of batter into pan. Mix 2-3 tbsp. cocoa into remaining batter and pour into bunt pan.
Bake at 325 for 60 minutes (check at 50). When finished, the top of the cake will be golden brown and you should be able to remove a clean toothpick.
Cool for at least 1.5 hours before removing from bunt pan.
